Cookieception!

Don't hate me, but I'm not worried about the following admission:

I still have not seen Inception.

Yeah, I know. However, I know I'll see it eventually, but for the moment, I don't feel like I'm missing out. When (yes, when) I see the movie I may amend that opinion, but for the moment... Cookieception cookies. Just because I haven't seen the movie doesn't mean I can't make a correct reference! Hehe.

I first saw these on Pinterest - an oreo surrounded by a choc chip cookie. Finally made the time and baked them.

Oh, my goodness. These. Are. Amazing. The choc chip cookies were delicious, and the addition of the oreo? Such a good idea, I'm super pumped to try other flavours!!

The initial Pin I found used pre-made cookie dough, but I'm not a huge fan of the pre-made stuff, so I found a choc chip cookie recipe to use instead. The one I used is located here, however I would recommend using a lot less choc chips (around 1 cup) for the cookieception cookies, because molding the cookie dough over the oreo was super hard with that many choc chips...

Mm, they were especially good while they were still warm from the oven, and the oreo was still soft...
