Bow Boxers

On a trip to Spotlight looking for something else (which I can't remember what I was looking for initially...), I made a stopover to the bargain bench - and found this adorable bow pj fabric. For $3 a metre. So in my head I designed an adorable pair of summer pj's.

For the moment, I haven't made the top yet, and for the moment I'm not sure how to do it.

I used a Simplicity shorts pattern, but had to adjust my measurements. I initially cut out a pair to my measurements, but when I put them on, they were too small. I don't get it. So I cut out another pair in a larger size, with a larger seam allowance. Now they fit perfectly!

Also they're super comfy ;)
