Aaaaand we're back. It's also my younger brother's birthday today, so while I'm writing this a whole group of his friends are playing Halo. Really loudly. My peaceful Wednesday night has been ruined! (I'm kidding. It's actually not that bad. Especially with a door closed and headphones on. But I digress.)
Both my brother and I are huge Community fans, and his favorite character is Abed. So when I found this pattern on Etsy, I knew what he was getting for his birthday. A little Abed bookmark.
It's adorable! Oh, for those who don't watch Community (go watch it. Now.), Abed's catch phrase is saying "
cool" usually 3 times in a row. Hence today's title, and why I decided to quickly add "cool cool cool" to the top of the bookmark.
I'm super excited to stitch up the rest of the crew, I have Troy's leg-and-foot-outline done. This time making the bookmark, I decided to try out a glue instead of blanket stitch. It worked surprisingly well, I was really surprised.
This was the stuff I used. My local craft shop was conveniently having a sale, so I got my bottle for $2! Not bad, in my opinion.
Hopefully my bro likes it (I baked cakes today, so I haven't had a chance to give it to him)!
Until next time,
