Tonight was one of those nights - I knew exactly what I wanted to make for dinner. Especially since I had discovered some puff pastry in the freezer. Pizza scrolls! Because pizza is delicious and all. The initial idea was, as I mentioned before, was scrolls. Then I got lazy and hungry, so they morphed into rolls. Still delicious, none the less.
For a change, it's actually my own "recipe". It goes as follows:
Makes 3
You need:
-3 squares of puff pastry
-300g ham
-300g (ish) tin of pineapple chunks
-lots and lots of cheese
-herbs (I used a premix called "Italian Herbs". No idea what was in it, but it was delicious)
-tomato sauce
1. Preheat oven to 180(degrees)C. Line trays with baking paper.
2. On the sheets of puff pastry, spread tomato sauce, followed by ...everything.
3. Roll puff pastry! Close the ends (...squish them down with a fork).
4. Sprinkle cheese on top!
5. Bake for 15-20 minutes
It was a surprisingly delicious dinner, and there's one roll left over for tomorrow! Yay.
See you Wednesday!
