First lesson I learnt - this probably would work better in under thirty-something degree heat...

Turns out I have a lot of pink polish, so several pinks (and purple!) with a silver base seemed the cutest way to go.  I ended up using...

Hot pink and purple polish

Pink and colour changing polish

Base coat, top coat, bottom polish

I assumed this would have worked so much better if the sticky tape actually... stuck.  I'm blaming the heat on this one, but it was harder than I thought it'd be to do this when I had to wrestle with the sticky tape.  As far as things go though, I'm surprisingly happy with the way it turned out.  Since it took so long to actually do this manicure I assume it won't be something I do often, but it's nice for something different!  Maybe next time I'll actually do fancy shapes or something...
