At some point last year, I made a cake for my boss's birthday. She's so amazing to all of us (she bought me flowers for my 21st birthday!), so I really wanted to do something for her, too.
Also, cake.
Since then, I've been subjecting my co-workers to my baking. That being said though, there is never a complaint; they've received cookies, more birthday cake, cupcakes and even Nutella cheesecakes (which by the way, are amazing). Today, I'm supposed to be doing some readings for uni (from my textbook - hardly major entertainment) I decided I wanted to bake cookies. Not just any cookies, something that could be wacked together with a tiny amount of effort. With maximum deliciousness, of course.
I found a recipe for peanut butter cookies. So glad I pinned it...
Perfectly peanut buttery, perfectly crunchy on the outside with enough soft and squishyness on the inside.
Also insanely more-ish. I may have eaten 4 when they were still warm. Then several more whilst at work. I do not regret that decision at all.
They were very well received at work :)
I'll see you Friday!
