Pintester Movement: Hair and Sharpie mugs

Wooo! It's time for the Pintester Movement again!!

Yes, I got that excited about it. Hush, you.

I found my pin, then decided that since it was a hair-test and this is a craft blog... I figured I should probably do a craft test as well.

Curls and a Sharpie mug

Now, as a girl with long and reasonably straight hair, I'm always looking for an easy way to curl my hair- I've tried the rag-roll method (and woke up looking like a young Hermione Granger. The facial expression below is highly accurate to my feelings that morning...)

As it turns out, trying to take a photo of the back of your head is harder than I thought...

Went to bed, tried to go to sleep, and half an hour later I got up and pulled them out. So damn uncomfortable. So never again. (I'm not joking. I swapped from bobby pins to hairbands and everything and it was still awful...

And moving on to my "Sharpie" mug. A Sharpie mug which didn't actually use Sharpies because I couldn't find them, so in the spirit of Pintesting, I used Bic permanent markers.

So... Pin-win? I'm going to try it again just for fun later on, to see if I can experiment and get my colour to stay...
OH. I baked it for half an hour at 220C (I stuck the mug in while the oven was heating up), then it was coming off, so I traced over the vines again (hence why they're still dark green) and stuck it back in the oven for 50mins at 220C.
