Cut back to last school holidays - two music teachers hosted a Alice in Wonderland themed musical workshop. One of those teachers accidentally came across glitter foam and decided to make some mini top hats for the two teachers to wear. Mad Hatter themed, of course.
That teacher was then requested to make another for a birthday present for her boss's daughter.
Just for the sake of stating the obvious, I'm talking about the top hats you see below! Sadly, I didn't manage to photograph the other hat I made for the other teacher.
The above hat is mine! Yes, that's actual glitter foam and it came like that. I got so excited when I found it, the store attendant gave me a weird look. In my defence, as a crafter, glitter foam in Australia was unexpectidly awesome.
That's the hat I put together for my boss's daughter - I gave it to her this afternoon and she absolutely loved it! It's quite a bit taller than the other one (around double of the size) simply because I can't estimate very well...
Had to finish with some cute (or at least something modelling my hat...) so here's Brownie wearing my top hat!
See you next time,
