Welcome to #UFOctober! The month where we/I go through my shamepile of UFO's (unfinished objects) and actually work on finishing them. This week's challenge is "The Sort".
AKA "this is how good I am at not finishing stuff".
My shame pile looks like this:
It contains...
- 3 dresses (one is for Mum), in pieces
- 2 bikinis (top and bottom), in pieces, probably missing bits
- 2 soft cup bras, in pieces
- 1 pair of underwear, in pieces
- 3 skirts, in pieces
- 2 shorts, just hemming and buttons to go
- 1 pair of pj pants, all cut up
- 4 tops, most in pieces, one half completed, one missing buttons
- 1 pj top, in pieces
- 1 jacket, all I need is to add buttons
- 1 coat, just need to add buttons
- 1 vest for Dad, just need to add snaps
- 1 kimono, mostly completed.
...That's a lot. Twenty-two incomplete projects. Okay, I have a problem.
Next week: Ten Minute Finish. What out of that enormous list can I finish in 10 minutes or less?
- Dadvest,
- 2 shorts
- 1 jacket
- 1 top which just needs buttons
- MAYBE the coat, because I need to do fancy button holes for that one.
Let's see how much of that I can get done this week! Obviously, over the course of this month I don't expect to get everything completed. What I want to get out of this is have a smaller amount of incomplete projects and continue to focus on what I'm wanting to make rather than what past me was intrigued by.
What are you getting up to this week? Let me know!
