Welcome to week 2! The week where I sew buttons and finish projects that will take me under 10 minutes to finish, but I've been putting off for reasons unknown.
I have finished much more than I thought I'd get done, since it was the first week of school and all. What fit the criteria of "10 minute finish" was these items:
- Dadvest,
- 2 shorts
- 1 jacket
- 1 top which just needs buttons
- MAYBE the coat, because I need to do fancy button holes for that one.
I have completed...
- 1 top which just needed buttons
- 1 jacket (just needed 2 buttons and 2 buttonholes)
- 1 pair of long Flints
- 1 half circle skirt with a button down front.
Which takes me to 18 unfinished projects! Huzzah!
I have also learned that I can sew buttons on with my sewing machine. I've heard about this before, but never actually thought I could do it. It's so easy, I cannot recommend trying this enough. It involved using a fancy foot that came with my machine and following some super instructions.
(I will update this post with photos soon, those items happen to be in the wash right now ;) )
Onto the most avoided projects!
...Coat... SIGH.
See you next week!
